The C. D. came in excellent condition and in a timely manner. We were very happy with our purchase.
While it is nowhere near the caliber of Cash, Waylon or Coe it still worth a listen. My uncle had this album and recommended it to me. Being a fan of classic country music I figured I might as well check it out. Cow Patti and Wildwood Weed are both exceptional tracks I think any fan of classic country would enjoy. 3 1/2 stars (why don't amazon let a person rate half stars).
Jim Stafford - Greatest HitsHas some classic good songs like "My Girl Bill", "Spiders And Snakes", and "Wildwood Weed".
If you remember some of his classics, they are here. It's like going down memory trail.
I had always thought he was saying "my girl Bill" like "my dog Spot" or "my brother John;" confusing despite the fact that "Bill" is a highly unlikely feminine name.I get it now. He's not saying "My girl's name is Bill" but addressing a third party, "Bill, that girl is mine." Glad to have cleared that up.
